Is Cyprus a great place to build your own property? Yes, it is. if you want to build your first home or you are looking for a great place to spend your retirement or you want to build a vacation home for you and your loved ones, Cyprus offers a lot of options. But like every other sovereign state in the world, Cyprus is divided into zones and areas. Each one has a set of rules regulating the size and type of building you can erect on a piece of land. Nevertheless, there are many great places to build your custom-made home in Cyprus.

Cyprus is an island country, and as such, it is the premier destination to find the perfect land for your home. Deciding where you want to stay in Cyprus

You can visit on your own or you can send your attorney a good and honest estate agent will be able to assist you as well. The process is long and time-intensive, and as such, finding the perfect zone and a suitable land may be a tough nail to handle. Depending on your needs you can buy lands in the following areas;

Limassol: Limassol is a working town with a great atmosphere and a picturesque environment. This great city has beaches and smooth sand that stretches for miles and miles. If you want to walk on a sandy beach every day, it is the ideal place for you.

Paphos: This is the rocky coast of Cyprus and the most sought after area by non-nationals living in the county. If you are not too excited about beaches, breathtaking views and beautiful sunsets over looking the Mediterranean Sea, you shouldn’t consider Paphos for your land.

Larcana: This beautiful city offers all you want in the typical Cypriot life. The sandy beaches, the palm trees, the airy atmosphere and everything else that makes Cyprus a great country are present here.

Troodos: Troodos is surrounded by mountains, and it accommodates villages in its foothills. You’ll love this locale for your building.

Nicosia: This is the biggest city in Cyprus and the capital of the country. It is mostly dominated by commercial buildings and industries, and as such, no strict regulations are restricting the size and design of your home.
