Rightmove - 3 part mini course – part 1
Your next three Homeselling Secrets are a three part mini lesson series on Rightmove!
If you are currently on the market, ask your agent for your Rightmove Property Performance Report. If you are struggling for viewings, the statistics on Rightmove will usually correlate.
- How many detail views are you getting?
- How are you competing with other similar properties on the market in the area?
- Are you above or below average compared to other properties being marketed by your agent?
Over this three part mini series on Rightmove, I’ll be sharing with you my top three Selling Secrets, all designed to increase your click-through rate. Today we’re going to learn about….
Your Leading Image
In other words, your main photograph on Rightmove. Take a look at it now, trying to apply a critical eye. What does it say to you? Does it accurately represent the rest of your house? Is it enticing enough to click on?
I’ve used lots of different strategies to improve the click-through rate on a property by testing various photographs.
One that works particularly well I’ve found, is showing an image of just your front door. Of course, it needs to be a pretty door! One that is well painted, perhaps framed by colourful flower pots and hanging baskets, and most importantly – one that will make a good photograph!
‘Lifestyle’ images can also work really well, perhaps a patio table set up for an al fresco breakfast, or a close-up of a recipe book and some ingredients set up in the kitchen. Be creative with your main image, and buyers won’t be able to resist clicking on it.
Is your leading image good enough? Would you like my opinion on it? Send it to me and I’ll tell you honestly what I think!
