Akoursos village is located in the Paphos district, east of Pegeia and south of Kathikas. Only 38 residents live here today and it is one of the smallest communities in Cyprus, although like most of the villages in the area, the summertime population swells extensively with holiday makers, both foreign and local. 

Set approximately 400 meters above sea-level, there are often local goat-herders that can be seen milling around with their flocks making it an exciting place to explore for nature and animal lovers. 

Mavrokolymbos Dam is en-route to the village, and the main road continues to Kathikas, offering spectacular, panoramic scenic views at every step.  

Living here has the added benefit of being above humidity level, making the summer heat in the hottest months more than tolerable.  

This is for people that truly enjoy being fully embraced by nature, value privacy and enjoy living in larger areas as the villas here tend to have larger plots with lower building densities.
