Kathikas located in the Pafos (Paphos) region, at an altitude of almost 700 metres, is a small and well-known traditional village that has been inhabited since ancient times and has a lot of beauty to offer. Just 23 km north of Pafos, it is easily accessible either from the Polis road or From the Peyia road and is widely known for its fantastic tasting taverns, with people travelling even from other town specifically to enjoy. Kathikas is also only a 10-minute drive to Minthis hills golf course, and just a 5-minute drive to the Aphrodite’s rock microbrewery in Tsada.

Retaining its traditional charm, the village has residencies that are over a century old and serve as fine examples of folkloric architecture, whilst it also has many old and interesting churches.
