Buying here is about 15-20% lower in price than Paphos town and proves to be very popular for the larger plots, making it a great option for value of your money. It is a very popular holiday home destination and could act as a great investment in the times the homeowner is not using it by it being possibly rented out to tourists.

General Info:

Polis is 35Km from Paphos - a 30-minute car ride. The towns are linked by regular bus routes every day except Sunday and it is just 45 minutes from Paphos airport, less than 2 hours from Larnaka Airport, and 25 minutes from the Tsada Golf Course. 

Polis which in Greek means town, is a small town at the north- west end of Cyprus, and on the edge of the Akamas peninsula nature reserve, this is the smallest municipality and oldest in the whole of Cyprus, with only about 2,000 permanent residents. This is an area filled with natural green beauty, wonderful beaches and history. 

Modern Polis is built on the ruins of two ancient cities, Marion and Arsinoe, dating back almost 3000 years. Evidence of this reach, ancient history is found in the excavations in the region.  

The area is especially suited to people with special interests who enjoy activities when on holiday. This is an ideal place to spend your holidays as it has it all. You can visit a number of museums, be entertained by the plentiful watersports, enjoy the freshest fish at the lovely taverns, take a boat trip or a buggy to the Akamas Blue lagoon, go bird watching, or visit the Baths of Aphrodite, where the myth is Aphrodite met her lover, Adonis and legend says this will greet you with luck for the rest of the year.
